This factory, known as the Enameled Iron Company, was one of the first in the nation to produce porcelain enamel signs. Louis Ingram was the general manager of the plant, flanked by his second-in-command, superintendent Ernest Richardson. The company was an innovator of the Porcelain-Enamel industry, manufacturing signs, kitchen and bathroom products until the 1970s. Sale. |
