Description: | More has probably been written about this chess set than any other. Designed in 1922-23 by Natalya Y. Danko for the State Porcelain Factory Lomonosow , St. Petersburg. Called The Reds vs. The Whites", "it represents the Communist against the Capitalist. The white King is sculptured as the Death and the Pawns are in chains. The red pieces represent the bright future of the Communism. Only 16 pieces available representing the Capitalism side and are a later reproduction.
