Luxurious, Unique Chess Set made in Pewter by artist Ann Fienstein, UK 1989, who later founded Studio Ann Carlton, a major force in designing and production of unique chess sets.
The pieces are modelled after nineteenth century bone/ivory design (sold recently for over $2,000.00) where the major pieces are nested-wrapped in feathers-leaves. Kings with crowns; Queens; Bishops with split miters; Knights as horses heads; Rooks with finials, cannons and flags; Pawns with tear-drop finials
